Kevin Hibbert has more than 21 years of experience as a Regulator and Compliance Officer. He is a trained Pediatrician, and a graduate from the University of Michigan Medical School with an MD and MPH in Health Education and Health Behavior. Hibbert completed a Pediatric Residency at HARVARD University’s Boston Children Hospital and continued his training at the David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
Following his post-doctoral clinical training at UCLA, he joined Aventis Pharmaceuticals Regulatory Department in Bridgewater, New Jersey where he began his career in regulatory and compliance.
During Hibbert’s career as a corporate regulator, he has served as a liaison with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Canadian and European Health Authority. His expertise includes presenting the pre-clinical and clinical data to support the approval of New Drug Applications. To date, Hibbert has been successful in obtaining approval for 4 drugs and one device / drug combination. He held the position of Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance with responsibility for medical legal regulations compiled in the Code of Federal Regulations put forth by the United States Congress.
Prior to joining Neurotech, Hibbert held the role of Global Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Hookipa Pharmaceutical and Neurogene and has worked with Sanofi-Aventis, Bayer, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Through his clinical work, Hibbert supports education and has been instrumental through his partnership with the Newark Comprehensive Center for Father’s, where he developed a health care curriculum for men who have recently been released from incarceration and the New York Urban League.
